Shekerk's Weblog

Keys | April 10, 2008

The old key in the header photograph unlocks many memories. It opened an old style lock which is no longer in use. Houses in Trivandrum nowadays are apartments in high rise buildings. The swankiest of them boast biometric idents, god knows what else.

This blog is driven by nostalgia, art and many other things.
I have just started this blog, so please excuse all lapses,
errors of commission, omission and all other kinds!

  1. The key that no longer has a door to open, is a timeless monument. It is the end of a journey. At the same time, it is the beginning of a backtracking exploration. All nostalgias begin from a rusted key. Such keys when pursued, open more doors than they were originally created for. Nice visual, with more in it than meets the eye.
